Who We Are
PACE (Pawling Arts, Commerce, and Education) is an unincorporated association whose members include artists, community leaders, local business owners, and supporters of the arts.
Deb Ondo, President
Deb has over twenty years of experience working in television, both in management and production. Her background is in marketing and production. Currently, she works for a non-profit in New Windsor, NY. She is also an independent filmmaker. Contact her at Deb@pawlingarts.com.

Linda Puiatti, Vice President
Linda, a working artist, has exhibited in Boston, New York City, throughout the Hudson Valley, and in Belgium. Her paintings hang in private collections throughout the United States and Europe. Contact her at Linda@pawlingarts.com.

Vanessa Muro, Secretary
Vanessa is the owner of Pique Assiette Studios on Route 22 on the Pawling/Patterson border. She is a mosaic artist and teacher who has encouraged growth and creativity in children and adults alike for over ten years. Contact her at Vanessa@pawlingarts.com.

Members-at-Large
  • Mary Smoot-Souter, a local artist and community activist who works closely with the Pawling School District to enhance and enrich the educational experience of Pawling's students.
  • Fred Feindel, a local resident and talented portrait artist.
  • Jeanne Scigliano, the current director of initiatives for the Dutchess County YMCA, has a vital talent for motivating community oriented activities to benefit a great many people.
  • Elizabeth Buchtman, has been beading and felting for many years. Her fiber art designs can be seen in How we felt: Designs and Techniques from Contemporary Felt Artists, and Hand Felted Jewelry and Beads: 25 Artful Designs. Her beadwork can be seen in Mastering Beadwork: A Comprehensive Guide to Off Loom Techniques, all by Carol Huber Cypher. Elizabeth owns Designs from Fenwood and creates one-of-a-kind beaded jewellry and fiber art to wear.
